Blake Kolesa

Treasurer

Blake Kolesa, a senior studying social policy, has served as Iota Chapter's House Manager since April after serving as treasurer the year before. Hailing from Staunton, Illinois, a rural community forty minutes northeast of St. Louis, Blake has been dedicated to music since the fifth grade. Since taking up the trumpet in elementary school, Kolesa has played in his church, with the Staunton "Heritage" Municipal Band, and as a member of VFW Post 1241's veteran honor guard in addition to marching in high school and at Northwestern. Since an early age Kolesa has dedicated himself to public service, earning the rank of Eagle Scout, working for the Illinois State Senate, and being an active voice in local politics. After graduation from Northwestern University, Blake hopes to study and subsequently practice law before retiring in the Rocky Mountains and adopting two lovely Bernese Mountain Dogs.

Matthew Lam

Secretary

Matthew is a senior from La CaƱada, California majoring in biology with a concentration in biochemistry and minoring in psychology. Outside of Phi Mu Alpha, he's part of other groups at Northwestern like Academy of Music and Arts for Special Education (AMASE), Cancer Outreach Prevention Education (COPE), and the Medical Decoder (MD). When not on campus, he can be found doing research at the Feinberg School of Medicine or volunteering at Symphony of Evanston. In his free time, he enjoys playing saxophone with ensembles, or playing video games.

Frank Kaufhold

Frank Kaufhold is an alumnus of Northwestern University (Class of 2014) and the Iota Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. While at Northwestern, Frank served as President, Vice-President and Philanthropy Chair of the Iota Chapter. He also served Province 37 as ACPR1 along side the inimitable Jason Lederman (hi Jason!) Frank is excited to hear from alumni and plan events to get alumni engaged during the upcoming academic year. OAS AAS LLS & Go 'Cats!

Peter Puleo

Historian

Peter Puleo is a Junior at Northwestern University studying Earth and Planetary Sciences. This is his second term as historian. He loves to play tuba and bass guitar with groups on campus. In his free time, he likes to watch movies and play cards.

Since an early age Kolesa has dedicated himself to public service, earning the rank of Eagle Scout, working for the Illinois State Senate, and being an active voice in local politics. After graduation from Northwestern University, Blake hopes to pursue a career in public policy or political consulting in southern Illinois, Chicago, or the District of Columbia.
